Provision to Stay Secure in Relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – Thirty
Matthew 12:28-30, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Romans 8:34b, It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
I had not been able to continue Bible Study Fellowship while I was working full time. Our church conducted Precept classes by Kay Arthur. Her lectures, by video tape were outstanding and every word was a pearl of biblical wisdom. I discovered I could not take notes fast enough so I prayed the Lord would cause me to remember the points I needed. The actual workbook and homework were too detailed for me. I just couldn’t see the forest for the trees! Isn’t it wonderful that the Lord makes each individual different and what works for one does not work for another. However, the time I spent in the precept class was very valuable.
We praised God in two services every Sunday and participated in many concerts around the city with the Body of Christ. We previewed music from the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church of New York. It was the most anointed (empowered by God), beautiful praise music I had ever heard. It was Godly testimony in song and usually written and/or sung by the person who had witnessed or had been personally involved with the theme. It just set me on fire with the love of the Lord and encouraged me in a way that nothing else could! Many times I could relate to or use the testimony in my own life. Our problems and life continued at a break neck speed but I was calmed and comforted by the word, prayer, and praise.
Thought: Does Jesus see and know every stress and problem we face on an hourly basis? Jesus is the great intercessor sitting at the right hand of God.
Action: Trust Him with all your physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs. He will answer the need before you ask!
